Fiber Wood with density 140 Kg/m³.
Fibertherm Top is a panel of fiber wood for thermal and acoustic insulation of roofs, attics and floors. Its density, breathability, and permeability protect the construction from moisture and significantly reduce mold formation.
The fiber wood panel FiberTherm Top 140 it is a thermal and acoustic insulation for floors. The panels are light and are suitable, with their format of 40·120 cm, to be placed in narrow spaces, such as those that are usually found in the attics and the passage from retractable stairs. Particularly permeable, if moisture penetrates, it can easily evaporate. Protects the construction, so as not to require further protection for steam. It significantly reduces mold formation.
The fiber wood panels FiberTherm Top 140 are able to occupy large areas. Since the panels have a sharp edge, they are completely suitable for difficult assembly in confined spaces. If you work on two layers, we recommend installing vertical joints.
These panels have a specially structured compressed surface, which is characterized by greater stability. A further covering with Betonwood cement bonded particle boards can be useful for environments subjected to heavy loads or those requiring fire resistance.
The fiber wood Top has a density equal to 140 kg/m³.
The material is also recyclable, it is certified and made exclusively with wood from controlled forests in compliance with the FSC guidelines (Forest Stewardship Declaration).
The insulating fiber wood panel FiberTherm Top 140 has the following characteristics:
• ideal for the insulation of attics;
• directly reachable without coverings;
• particularly permeable, no further vapor protection is required;
• the reduced size allows a simple and fast processing;
• excellent protection against cold and heat;
• excellent insulating properties, in summer as in winter;
• recyclable, ecological, environment-friendly;
• building material tested and authorized according to current European standards.
The first 100 mm of insulation bring maximum energy savings. Depending on the nature of the substructure, the requirements may also already be considered achieved. The fiber wood panels FiberTherm Top 140 combine effective insulation with a directly walkable surface.
For those who want to achieve high insulation performance combined with ease of use, it is recommended to install a double layer of FiberTherm Top 140. With two layers of 80 mm thickness, a U value of 0,24 W/(m²·K), so that the EnEV 2009 energy saving requirements are met.
The use of FiberTherm fiber wood as a lower layer allows particularly efficient systems. The panels with load distribution are available in thicknesses up to 160 mm. The cover panel FiberTherm Top 140 integrates insulation and creates a directly usable surface. Thus, for example, with 220 mm of insulation you can reach U value of 0,18 W/(m²·K) in order to meet the new EnEV 2013 requirements.
